Try These Three Chicago Restaurants Now
We have hit our summer stride and Chicagoans are venturing out of their luxury Chicago apartments after a very long and cold winter. We are out on the lake front, strolling down Michigan Avenue and of course dining at Chicago’s top restaurants (there is nothing better than dining al fresco in the Second City!).
A few new restaurants have emerged on the Chicago dining scene and our team has been making the rounds, sampling the menus so we can offer the best restaurant recommendations to our clients. Not only are we experts about downtown Chicago apartments, but we fancy ourselves part time restaurant reviewers as well.
Here’s a round-up of some of our new favorites:
Kinmont – This new seafood hotspot resides in the old Zealous space at 419 W Superior in River North. The place got a new look and is quite the catch for River North renters. While the menu focuses on fish, there are other protein options on the menu. They also serve hot buttery rolls! The eatery offers weekend brunch as well.
Bottlefork – Kevin Hickey (former Executive Chef of the Four Seasons) took his talents to Clark Street and partnered with Billy Dec and Rockit Ranch to open Bottlefork (441 N Clark). The menu offers a seamless “marriage” between food and drink. The cocktails are delicious, the food is out of this world and the atmosphere is sexy yet inviting. Try the crisps & eggs – homemade potato chips with malt vinegar and sea salt shaken up in paper bag with egg yolk.
TWO – River West luxury apartment dwellers have lucked out with the opening of TWO at 1132 West Grand. The small plates spot focuses on seasonal house made pastas, bacon, jerky, sausage and cheeses. The décor is super cool using recycled materials from around Chicago to create a fun, artful atmosphere. We had the donut biscuit with maple ice cream for dessert – enough said.
