73 East Lake – The First New Downtown Chicago Luxury Apartment to Open in 2014

It’s been nearly six months since a brand new luxury Chicago high-rise building opened for occupancy. The first to open its doors this leasing season to luxury Chicago renters is 73 East Lake Street. RMK Management, the team behind Parc Huron 469 W Huron in River North, developed this 42-story rental building.

73 East Lake announced this week that it will begin pre-leasing for mid-April 2014 moves.

The 332 units include a mix of convertibles, one and two bedroom apartments.

This luxury high-rise rental building has a strong focus on technology, amenities and sustainability.  Residents have access to Club 73, a sleek retreat on the 42nd floor featuring private dining and Sky Lounge with multiple flatscreen televisions. There is a terrace with intimate seating areas, a fire pit, cabanas and amazing city views. The property even boasts a private cook’s kitchen, indoor pool, sauna and steam room and three different fitness facilities.

If all these features were not enough, the building offers an indoor, heated dog run so fido won’t freeze while doing his business in the cold Chicago winters.

Units feature upgraded kitchens with quartz counters and Snaidero cabinets, designer bathrooms, wide-plank hardwood flooring, washer and dryer, unprecedented city views and built-in desks.

Units range in price from $2300 to $4360 a month. To boost rentals during the initial lease-up phase the property is offering a two months free rent concession.
